In principle, it can be said that the nature of sectarianism has a special basis for terrorist acts, because the personality of a sectarian individual is cultivated as stratified and inflexible, so that the readiness for terrorist acts in these individuals increases greatly; just as different cults in the history of Iran, from Babism to Bahaism, the Dervish cult and etc., have different terrorist backgrounds, and Babism and Bahaism are the forerunners of terrorist cults in Iran. In this regard, the judiciary has announced that the murderers of Shirazi Judge (Ehsan Bagheri) have a sectarian background, which is presented below.
The Protection and Intelligence Center of Judiciary announced:
“During a complex technical and intelligence operation and with precise and effective coordination and cooperation with the forces of the Ministry of Intelligence service and Faraja in Fars province, the perpetrators of this crime who were planning to flee the country were identified in one of their hideouts around the city of Shiraz using scientific methods of crime detection and continuous and unremitting efforts of the unknown soldiers of the Imam of the Time (P.H). They were stopped and arrested after resisting and being caught in the intelligent service trap, with the intelligent and decisive reaction of the security forces.
In addition to their tendency towards deviant cults, the accused also had criminal records and numerous crimes. They were delivered to the judicial authorities in order to conduct investigations and discover the dimensions and motives of the crime.
The judicial and security forces of the country consider it as their duty to maintain order and security in society and consider any attack on the lives, property, and rights of citizens as a red line and will pursue the cases with full seriousness until the criminals and violators are punished and will spare no effort to uphold public rights and protect the servants of the Iranian nation.
In fact, cultism can be one of the main bases for terrorist acts, because pure and unquestioning obedience lies in the essence of cults. Cults are autocratic in their organizational structure. The leader is recognized as the supreme authority, although he may delegate certain powers to a few subordinates in order to monitor the loyalty of followers to his desires and orders. There is no petition outside the leader’s system to a higher judicial system. For example, if a school teacher feels that he has been treated unfairly by the principal, he can complain to another authority. In a cult, the leader is the only and final authority on all matters, so the orders of the leaders are obeyed without any reduction by the followers. Now, for example, the cult leader gives a mission to one of the followers to kill such and such a person or official or judge or director general, etc., and says the prosperity of the two worlds of the individual depends on this action, of course, the probability of committing this terrorist act is very high.
